Testament of Asher (TestXII) (eng)

2
1 There is a soul that says “good over evil,” and (yet) it brings the goal of action toward evil.2 There are people , that they feel no compassion for a person who serves them badly. This too is ambivalent, but on the whole it is bad.3 There are people who love a person who acts in an evil way; this too happens) in wickedness, since they (would) choose to die in a wicked manner for his sake. This too is obviously ambivalent, but on the whole it is an evil deed.4 A love is wickedness, even though it is love, when it conceals an evil which appears good in name only. But the goal of the action proceeds toward evil.5 Another person steals, harms, robs, takes advantage of others, and (yet) he has mercy on the poor. This too is ambivalent, but on the whole it is bad.
