Joseph and Aseneth (grc)
The novel-like work tells the story of Aseneth, the Egyptian wife of Joseph (Gen 41). It begins with her conversion to Judaism, during which she becomes a ‘female Abraham,’ the patron of all proselytes. A second part recounts the ultimately unsuccessful pursuits of the Pharaoh’s son.
